Learning to make better melon beads:
1. Use thinner tool..pampered chef kids knife works well in a bind
2. Make sure the bead is hotter; the surface and below the surface so I don't have to push the knife so hard and then misshape my bead.
3. To make a round/globular bead...start with 2 annular beads side by side and turn into a barrel or cyndrical shape bead. Then add a couple wraps of glass around each end. The melt in the flame. As the glass melts it will move towards the middle.
