  • Storytime- with books about period topics
  • Tea and cookies with the Baroness
  • Decorating cookies made with themed cookie cutters
  • Creating subtleties using sugar paste or marzipan
  • Youth heraldry activity book and designing mock devices
  • Decorating a banner that was gifted to the Baroness and Barony
  • Lacing cards using plastic needles for older kids and string with packaging tape wrapped ends for the younger kids
  • Mock stained glass with pages from Dover books or blank velum and black sharpies to create their own
  • Commercially bought needlework kits for kids over 7/8
  • Beginning bookbinding using card stock and yarn- I would like to use a more period approach with actual thread and card stock or leather covers
  • Stick animals- taken from a Pennsic class
  • Medieval pinwheels- taken from a Pennsic class
  • Rag dolls-taken from a Pennsic class
  • Felt puppets
  • Jewelry making-string beads-pony beads for the younger children and using smaller beads with more technique taught for older kids
  • Have kids draw a design for their beads and then Lissa made the beads for them
  • Decorate a belt favor with crayons that the parents can then take home and set
  • I would like to do a kumihimo class-I've made disks from foam based on an online pattern
  • I would like to do a class on simple drawstring leather pouches
